Nationally, there are over 5.6 million disconnected youth. Kids between the ages of 16-24 who for one reason or another lack the essential educational and life skills; job training; family support; and social networks necessary to make their way in the world. Many of these kids are neither in school nor employed. None have a clear path to adulthood. There is no one solution to the challenges these kids face. But there are lots of things you can do to give them a fighting chance. At New Pathways, we believe young people are key to vibrant communities and thriving economies.
